Materials & care

Material

Smooth lambskin is a supple, lightweight leather that embodies understated luxury and timelessness. Its fine grain gives each piece a delicate appearance.

The tanneries we work with are based in France and Italy and share our commitment to quality and responsibility. Their artisanal expertise is part of a sustainable approach that prioritises renewable resources and transparent, traceable production processes.

Leather certified by the LWG (Leather Working Group)

The leather used for this model is certified by the LWG (Leather Working Group), reflecting responsible practices throughout the leather supply chain. This certification promotes the responsible management of water and energy, rigorous wastewater treatment, appropriate working conditions and stringent traceability. It also contributes to the fight against deforestation and supports the development of a more environmentally responsible leather industry.

This is a fine leather sourced through ethical and sustainable production, reflecting a commitment to both the environment and artisanal craftsmanship.

A living, natural material

Leather develops a patina over time. As a living, natural material, it requires careful maintenance to ensure your accessory can be enjoyed for many years to come.

Care
  • Apply a non-greasy, silicone-free nourishing cream regularly (always test first on the inside or on an inconspicuous area).
  • When wearing a dark-colored accessory for the first time, pair it with dark clothing to avoid color transfer.
  • Keep away from heat sources.
  • Careful, regular maintenance will extend the life of your accessory.
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight or artificial light, as this may alter its color.

Due to the fineness of smooth lambskin, certain risks should be considered during use:

  • Wear of the grain at points of friction
  • Tearing in case of snagging or overloading
