Texture

Split leather is located beneath the dermis layer of the skin. It is most commonly known for its suede finish, and is sometimes referred to as "suede" itself. This material was particularly popular in the 1970s, a decade that has always been a great source of inspiration for Jérôme Dreyfuss. The lower layer of calfskin has been sanded to achieve a soft, velvety feel. The leather has been dyed through to create a subtle, marbled effect.

Maintenance

Brush the suede parts before first use with a soft brush (to remove dust from sanding) and waterproof with a colorless universal spray. This treatment should be repeated regularly.
At the beginning, wear your accessory with dark clothing to avoid color transfer onto your clothes.
Warning: Dark clothes with poorly fixed dye may transfer color onto your accessory.
Keep away from heat sources.
Be careful not to snag your accessory, as the split leather may tear.
Avoid rubbing your accessory against abrasive surfaces.
Avoid prolonged contact with water, as moisture increases color transfer onto clothing.
Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight or artificial light, which can alter the color.
