Since 2005, the Cœur de Forêt association has protected forests in France and around the world, targeting the causes of deforestation and forest degradation. The association works through programmes designed to restore degraded forest ecosystems, to accompany small producers and smallholders in their move towards sustainable forestry, to develop fair trade as well as to create awareness in local populations.

To protect a forest, you must act on the underlying economic and social causes of its degradation. Therefore, in addition to replanting, it is essential to finance initiatives that fight against deforestation.
