Material

Buffalo hides are naturally wrinkled. The tanning process preserves the hide’s natural markings, giving the leather a more authentic appearance and a supple, rounded feel.

This leather is tanned using a vegetable tanning process, relying exclusively on natural extracts from wood, leaves and bark (natural tannins) instead of chromium salts and other chemical agents. This traditional method gives the leather a rich, vibrant colour and a unique patina that develops beautifully over time.

Vegetable tanning: Italy.

The tanneries we work with are based in France and Italy and share our commitment to quality and responsibility. Their artisanal expertise is part of a sustainable approach that prioritises renewable resources and transparent, traceable production processes.

Leather certified by the LWG (Leather Working Group)

The leather used for this model is certified by the LWG (Leather Working Group), reflecting responsible practices throughout the leather supply chain. This certification promotes the responsible management of water and energy, rigorous wastewater treatment, appropriate working conditions and stringent traceability. It also contributes to the fight against deforestation and supports the development of a more environmentally responsible leather industry.

This is a fine leather sourced through ethical and sustainable production, reflecting a commitment to both the environment and artisanal craftsmanship.

A living, natural material

Leather develops a patina over time. With careful maintenance, your accessory can be enjoyed for many years to come.

Care
  • Regularly apply a nourishing, non-greasy cream (to be tested first on the inside or on a non-visible part) and without silicone. Please note: apply only to the goatskin parts (and not to the velvet crust parts).
  • At first, wear your accessory with dark clothes to avoid bleeding colors on your clothes.
  • Warning: your dark clothes whose dye has not been properly fixed could bleed onto your accessory.
  • Protect from heat sources.
  • Be careful not to snag your accessory, the buffalo could tear.
  • Be careful of your accessory rubbing on abrasive surfaces.
  • Avoid prolonged contact with water, humidity reinforces the migration of colors on clothing.
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun or artificial light which can tone the color.
  • This buffalo combines all the qualities necessary for daily and long-term use with vegetable tanning. Be careful with very light colors which can darken over time.

Shipping & returns

Delivery

Standard delivery is free, with no minimum order, to mainland France, Corsica, Monaco and the European Union. Beyond that, it becomes free from €800 for international orders outside the European Union, €1,000 for the French Overseas Territories and £700 for the United Kingdom.

Once your order is confirmed, we prepare it and hand it over to the carrier within 24 to 48 business hours. This time may be slightly longer during promotional periods and in August.

The delivery times below apply from dispatch, excluding preparation, and are given as a guide.

Mainland France and Corsica: standard via UPS, 2 to 3 business days on the mainland and 5 business days in Corsica; express via UPS, 1 to 2 business days.

European Union: standard via UPS, 2 to 6 business days; express via DHL, 1 to 3 business days.

International outside the European Union and French Overseas Territories: standard via DHL, 4 to 7 business days; express via DHL, 2 to 7 business days.

For deliveries outside the European Union, taxes and customs fees may apply depending on the destination. They are covered for the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, Australia and South Korea. For other countries, they are calculated at checkout, payable at that stage or on receipt of the parcel.

Returns & refunds
