Calfskin is the noble leather of leather goods. These large calf hides are thick and resistant, their surface mechanically grained for better grain regularity and lightly sanded for a peach-skin effect. A waterrepellent finish has been applied to the surface.

• Before first use, brush the velvet parts with a soft brush (to remove sanding dust) and

waterproof with a colorless universal spray. This operation should be repeated regularly.

• At first, wear your accessory with dark clothing for dark leathers to avoid color bleeding onto your clothes.

• Caution: dark clothing with poorly-fixed dye may bleed onto your accessory.

• Protect from heat sources.The thickness and consistency of these skins present no problems in terms of tearing. On the other hand, the nubuck finish, especially in light colors, will darken with use, and color transfer between garments and accessories is possible.

• Be careful not to snag your accessory, as the skin may tear.

• Avoid prolonged contact with water, as humidity reinforces color migration on clothing.

• Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight or artificial light, which can nuance the color.
