Split leather is located beneath the dermis layer of the skin. It is most commonly known for its suede finish, and is sometimes referred to as "suede" itself. This material was particularly popular in the 1970s, a decade that has always been a great source of inspiration for Jérôme Dreyfuss. The lower layer of calfskin has been sanded to achieve a soft, velvety feel. The leather has been dyed through to create a subtle, marbled effect.

• Keep away from heat sources.
• Be careful not to snag your accessory, as the split leather may tear.
